A Hildreth Mystery
I have found Jeremiah Hildreth in Rochester,NY in 1850 as a boat builder. Working for him were Thomas and Oramond Hildreth. Are they his sons? Thomas and Oramond moved to East Aurora, NY and Jeremiah ended up in Corunna, Michigan. Thomas was my great,great grandfather but I can't prove who his father was. Any info would be a help. Jeremiah is listed in one reference as coming from Long Island, NY. He was born in 1803.
