Thanks for the tip. I may try to contact the paper. I have a picture of my Mary Ann (HILEMAN) COOK. She is at a very advanced age sitting in front of a log cabin in Aleppo Twp, Green Co. The info I am trying to find is who her parents were. Her death certificate only lists her fathers last name (HILEMAN), no mothers name is listed and her birth place was Armstrong Co., PA. The information provided on the certificate was given by her daughter and I suspect that alot of information on her was 'not discussed' as far as her real heritage. Supposidly she was a Native American and we suspect that she was adopted by the HILEMAN family.

If anyone has any info on this family, I'd really appreciate the input. I have been trying to read as much as I can on Armstrong Co and it's Native American popluation, plus the HILEMAN Families. So far I am at a brick wall.
