My genealogy shows my grandmother as Amy Pauline Hilficker. According to research done by my uncle, her family castle is in Argau, Switzerland. She married William Bartow in Pennsylvania and they migrated to Gering, Nebraska where he became town blacksmith. They lived in a "soddy" and raised thirteen children, my father was the youngest. The soddy still exists, however it is within the walls of the frame home they built as they got prosperous enough to do so. She was a beautiful lady who, even in her eighties had coal-black with a two-inch streak of white that ran from above her left eye clear to the tip of her hair which was waist length.

I have more info if this is in the same part of the Hilfickers you are interested in.
