I am trying to find the parents of my great-grandmother, ANN HILLFICKER/HILLFLICKER. She was born about 1824, and in my family papers she was referred to as "a Pennsylvania Dutch girl".
She married BENJAMIN CARTER (b. Mar. 28, 1820, in Fayette Co., PA), on May 28, 1846 in Richland Co., Ohio.
They had 3 children: (1) SERENUS WARREN CARTER b. Feb. 23, 1847 in Lexington, Ohio (2) JOHN W. CARTER (3) JULIA A. CARTER.
My reference says that she died in Galion, Ohio - no year listed.
Does anyone have any information on her ancestors, or any suggestions on what my next step should be?
Thank you, Tamara
