Travis Charles [Young] Hilgart, age 21, of Ripon, formerly of Berlin, WI, died unexpectedly Sunday, November 25, 2001, at his home after a life time of kidney problems. Travis was born in Berlin on November 17, 1980, the son of Wesley and Donna (Young) Hilgart. He graduated from Berlin High School with the Class of 1999.
In 1997 Travis was a finalist along with 13 others; his painting was selected to be on the cover for the American Kidney Fund Calender.
He is survived by his parents, Wesley and Donna, and two sisters, Heidi (Cory) Wagner and Lu Ann Hilgart, all of Pine River; his maternal grandparents, Ruth and Russell Young of Pine River; his paternal grandparents, Tina and Leonard Hilgart of Berlin; and maternal great-grandmother, Erna Young of Berlin.
Buried the Pine Grove Cemetery in the Town of Aurora, Waushara County, WI.
