Tina Lorraine (Springer) Hilgart, age 70, of Berlin, Wisconsin died Sunday morning, February 24, 2002. She died at her home surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Tina was born on November 1, 1931 in Park Falls, Wisconsin, the daughter of Wesley and Rose Smith Springer. She grew up in Park Falls, graduating from the Park Falls High School. Tina married Leonard Hilgart on May 21, 1948, and celebrated fifty-two years together. She is survived by: her loving husband, Leonard, three daughters; Sharon (Ron) Darnick, of Green Lake, Terry (Jim) Gurkowski, of Berlin, Ginny (Tim) Petit, of Green Lake, three sons; Wayne (Deborah) Hilgart, of Weatherford, Texas, Wesley (Donna) Hilgart, of Berlin, Tom (Laurie) Hilgart, of Berlin, three brothers; Roy Springer, of Omaha, NE, Glenn Springer, of FL, and Wesley Springer, of FL, thirteen grandchildren, Kim (Ron) Schmidtz, Greg (Laurie) Darnick, Eugene Tetzke, Kevin Tetzke, Bobbie Jo Mueller, Jennifer (and fi-ance Ryan) Gurkowski, Julie (friend Nathan) Gurkowski, Heidi (Cory) Wagner, LuAnn Hilgart, Adam and Aaron Hilgart, Devin and Jordan Petit, three step-grandchildren; Tonya (Jason) Ranspot, Will Hicks, and Crystal Hicks, three great grandchildren; Stephanie, and Taylor Schmidtz, Kory Darnick, three step great-grandchildren; Hunter, Dylan, and Payton Ranspot. Also other relatives and many friends. Tina was preceded in death by; her parents, brothers, Ernest and Raymond, sisters; Joyce, and Marie, and dear grandson Travis.
