I bet your great grandfather was a brother of mine, Friedrich R. Hilgemann. Do you have any information of THAT generation? My relative that attended the Hilgemann Reunion at the old family homestead in Lienen has since passed away. I will try & contact family members of hers but this is part of the family tree that we have lost touch with.
