My husbands family originally came through Canada to Cleveland, Ohio and then back up to Cass City, Michigan.
John Englehart has born in Canada in 1855. John's parents were John Englehart and Barb Brown who came from Germany. John married Sarah Cathrine Unknown in Cleveland in 1877.
His brothers were Frank, William and Arthur. His sister Ethel.
