Hi,
I could not find your Hilgendorf's in the book, Oakland Memory Lanes Cemetery, Dolton, IL.
However, I may have a link to this family! Bertha ROSE, b. 1866 Anklam, Germany, dau of Karl ROSE and Caroline STAACK, m. Peter Jones. Their dau, Wilhelmina Jones, b. 26 May 1890 Harvey, Cook Co., IL m. 1 Jan 1910 Henry HILGENDORF. They had at least one child, Elizabeth Antoinette HILGENDORF, b. 1 July 1910, d. 18 Apr 1995.
I am related to Bertha ROSE, who is believed to be the cousin of my Gr.Grandfather, Karl ROSE. The first mentioned Karl ROSE settled in Dolton, Cook Co., IL. The 2nd, my Gr.Grandfather, settled in Oak Glen (Now part of Lansing), Cook Co., IL.
