I havn't been on line in a while, a long while. I have recently been doing a lot of off-line research, here in the Chicago area, and through the mail.

I have managed to push the HILGENDORF and ROSSOW line back several more generations in Pomern. I also went to the Newberry Library and transcribed some of the church records for the First Zion Evangelical Church (remains of the church are located in the Pilsen neighborhood in Chicago). I posted the few transcriptions I have on the message boards for COOK CO, IL. You should be able to find it by searching by name, unfortunately no ROSSOWs.

I have too much information to share with you on the message boards at this time. I plan to post it on Ancestry and RootsWeb once I finish updating.
