My Peter Hilger was b. 1843 and d. 1909. His wife, Josephine, was b. 144 and d. 1913. They had seven children that I am aware of. John, Peter, Eva, (my grandmother), Francis, Mathilda, Josephine and Annie. My grandmother m. John McClean, John Hilger m. Loretta Gass; Peter m. Vivian O'Brien; Francis never married;Mathilda m. John Hanus; Josephine m. ? Larson and Annie m. ? Luebcke. I really do not have any information on the family beyone the Peter and Josephine. One of the cousins said her Mother had told her that her father was John Peter; his father was Peter John and his father was John Peter. I don't know if that had any truth in it or if it was just a story passed down. Joan
