Nice to hear from you... In my search for Hilger ancestors I have found the names Peter and Valentine repeated over and over.. From talking with my father, he has related to me that my great great grandfather Valentine was once in Wisconsin... Perhaps we have a link...I also have reliable information that the original Peter Hilger married a Lecetta Wetzel in Ohio and is buried in the Columbus Ohio area.... Please advise, it sounds like he may have been married before ? or these may be unrelated....The Valentine Hilger association makes me think not....
