I am a nephew of Josepha (Lukan) Hilgers, In fact Uncle Peter was my confirmation sponsor and his son Leo was one of my best men at my marriage in 1957. The Lukan Family published a history book in 1989 to which the Hilgers family contributed 10 Pages. If you do not have a copy of this book I could possbly scan them and send them to you if you are interested.
