I grew up in Crary, from where Peter Hilgers emigrated to Canada. I am the granddaughter of Peter's sister Catherine.
I met Peter's children Leo and Herbert nearly two years ago at a Hilgers family reunion in Cologne, MN. I had his wedding picture, and other photos of the couple, which I sent to the family in Saskatoon.
