Would like to open dialogue concerning the HILLERY's of County Clare, IRELAND. My ancestors spelled the name with an "E". I believe there may be a connection to Sir Edmund, however, I have little background on this particular branch of my UK family. have more on other relatives. My great grandfather was Martin C. Hillery of Hartford, CT, having owned property(ies)in Loeminster,MA, an antebellum home in Beaufort (is that SC, NC, or GA?) and Plantation No. 9, in FL, which I hear was sold shortly after he died of a heart attack in Loeminster, upon reviewing the damage to his Block of some kind of property, due to a huge fire, circa 1923-4.
