My great-grandmother Ellen Hillary was born in County Clare in March 1848 and was married to Michael Johnson and lived in northwestern Pennsylvania after entering the United States in the 1870's. She died in Olean, New York in 1919. She had two apparent sisters who were born in County Clare and settled eventually in Titusville, Pennsylvania.
Catherine Hillary born about 1854 married James Mulvehill.
Nora (Honora) Hillary born about 1844 married Martin Mulligan.
The Hillary sisters may have entered the United States from Ontario, Canada.
