In response to Susan, who said she was descended from John Hilliard of Tallyavey - I was in Ireland in August this year. We visited PRONI in Belfast and found landleases from Colonel Archdale to the Hilliards of Tallyavey. So exciting to hold an original 1796 document with the red wax seals & their signatures!! Richard Hilliard was mentioned on the land lease as were about six other Hilliards. Contact me or my friend Shirley for more details.

Jane andixj@hotmail.com
Shirley norris467@comcast.net

Hi. It's probably a few years too late, but just in case you're still researching, I'm also looking for information on Mary Montgomery and Richard Hilliard. I am descended from their daughter, Jane Hilliard. Jane's daughter, Martha Grigg was born about 1858 Fermanagh, Ireland. She emigrated to Australia where she married Charles Alford, whose ancestry is also Irish.

If you've managed to find any information, I'd love to connect with you. My tree is on Ancestry under Our Family Tree.

Regards,
Sharon.

I wish I could edit! I'm kind of fuzzy on the Anne Ford connection, actually. I have some accounts that say she was married to the 1787-1798 Jesse, but another account says Anne Ford was Mark Wesley's second wife.

Other information says my Jesse's wife's name was "Alsey" or "Aisley."

We found our three siblings after decades of searching!

I searched online under "Hilda Hilliard" and Raymond High School, Raymond, MS, came up. It said on the website that her name is Hilda Blanton now, and she lives in Albertville, AL. I got her address and phone number online and tried to reach her, but the phone listed online had been disconnected.

The next day I searched online for Hilda Blanton, and an obituary came up (which was her mother's). Hilda and her sister, Vickie Gibson, were listed as survivors. I was not 100% certain I had found them because the son was not listed, but I called the funeral home that was listed and told them I thought Hilda and Vickie were half sisters of mine that I had searched for for decades. He took my number and gave it to Hilda and she called me immediately! Hilda has been to TX to visit me, and my sister and I have gone to Albertville, AL, to visit Hilda and Vickie!

It is so nice to know where our siblings are and get to know them. Our half brother, James Monroe Hilliard, Jr., was killed in an auto accident in 2004. We learned lots about him from our other sisters.

Looking for information on William E. & Elsie (Ogle) Hilliard. They are listed in the 1930 Census as living on East Burgees St., Allegheny Co., Pittsburgh, PA. William was born about 1874. I do not connect to the Hilliard line, but Elsie Ogle Hilliard was my father's cousin. I don't know if they had any children, as I have not found them in any other Census Records. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Hilliards in London UK

Calling all Hilliards in London. I am researching my family tree and have a lot of work completed already.

I know we have another side to our family in London and I have many names - but sadly I have not managed to tie any to me yet. My Grandfather was William Frederick Hilliard, he would of been born in London around 1910. I know he had many brothers and sisters - one name Leonard Hilliard.

If you know of these people I would be really greatful if you could let me know.

I am also interested in other Hilliard trees as I am sure I can connect a lot more relatives.

I look forward to your replies Ian M Hilliard

Hi,

I am trying to find the records for a Beatrice Hilliard on the 1891 and 1901 Census'. She was born in 1891 in Walworth, London (which is in St Saviour Southwark). I have located them, but am unable to view them.

I only know her information and none of her family whatsoever, but if anybody can get these Census images for me I would be very grateful.

Many Thanks,

ant
x

Hi-
I think this family is the one I've been looking for! I am looking for parents of Joel Hilliard whose children went to Marion County, TN. Bonnie, in the previous posts, says that Joel's father is William HIlliard in the 15 Mile Creek area of Washington County, VA in 1772. Could you give me any more info on this family?
Thank you so much, anything will help. I've been at a dead end with Joel's daughter for many years and am just now finding a few more generations!
Amy~

Looking for any information on a Harriet Hilliard who possibly married Joseph Stone. She is thought to have lived in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area at the time of the birth of a son, Richard Martin Stone, born Dec. 6, 1912. Little is know of the background of Richard Stone but his marriage license from 1948 lists parents as Joseph Stone and Harriet Hilliard and says he was born in Aliquippa, PA. Supposedly his parents died when he was just a baby and he was raised by other relatives or friends of the family in Pennsylvania. Any information on any of these people would be greatly appreciated.
