She md Samuel Hinch August 7 1799.
Samuel Hinch was Hannah Gilliland's father's age (past 50).

He was md to a woman who was also named "Hannah" and had at least three daughters and a son and probably more. All of the daughters were older than Hannah Gilliland and some of the grandchildren were as old. The oldest daughter Elizabeth Gilliland and her husband William Brownfield signed marriage bond for Hannah Gilliland & Samuel Hinch. Elizabeth had married William in 1784. Fifteen years before her father and Hannah married.

1791, Samuel Hinch had bought 500 acres of land thirty some miles south of the Gilliland's on waters of Green River, near the confluence of Nolin Rivers, between Little Clifty, Caney Creek and Dog Creek. The purchase price was 50 pounds. This location is now where Mammoth Cave National Park. Not a great distance from the cave.
