I am a descendant of Catherine Hineman (1794) who married David McConnell. We believe great, great grandfather David McConnell was from (born?) in Crawford Co., Pa around 1792. We are not certain as to where he and Catherine were married-Pa. or Ohio. David McConnell and Catherine Hineman had nine children many of them born in Portage Co., Ohio (my great grandfather James McConnell was one). They also lived in Trumbull Co., Ohio.They eventually moved to Farmington, WI. Attempting to learn David's parent's names. Catherine father's name was John Hineman, reportedly born in 1775 in Westmoreland Co., Pa. Catherine's brother, John was also married to a McConnell, Mary Magdalene McConnell.
