Looking for information on Melvin Kenneth Hinton (1911 - 1993)

Surnames: Hinton
My maternal grandfather was Melvin Kenneth Hinton. I have hit a wall in trying to find any information on him, his ancestors and/or family. According to my mother, he was born in Missouri and died in Idaho. He married my grandmother in 1937 and they divorced in 1948.
