Hi there,Please does anyone out there with connections to the Hirst/Quarmby/ Beaumont families from Huddersfield,have any information on the families from around 1930-40ish.My mother was a live in nanny to children in both the Quarmby and Beaumont families during that time.Her name was Ellen (Helen) rose Griffiths,born 1912 in Wallasey brought up in Nidd.She married my father William Thomson in Lindley parish church.I think some of the childrens names were John,david and elizabeth but am not sure.I think that there was a connection by marriage between one of the families and the Hirst family.Would love to hear any info or get in touch with living members of these people.Thanks ,Marie.
