My mom is a Hiscocks from Iowa. I have been seeing your messages here for a few months. I have also been in contact with Richard Collingridge, who as you know, has been very helpful in tracing the family in England. My mom is the grandaughter of Robert Upson Hiscocks (1878-1916), brother of Edwin Fulcher Hiscocks (1873-1954). She is one of 11 children, born to Robert Hupson Hiscocks (1906-1953) and Mavis Leone Rapp. All 11 children were born in Britt, Iowa. There are plenty of Hiscocks in that area today.
