Judy Hitchens here, descended from Richard Hichens (Penzance) and Mary Crowell (Shelburne County, N.S.).
They and another married couple founded a lifesaving station on Seal Island which is about a 6-hour steam from here.
It would be nice to hear from anyone who shares my line of ancestry.
My father was Loring, his was Frank, his was Howard, his was Benjamin. They all lived in the Barrington Passage area of Nova Scotia.
