Alloway Tavern

Just found a link in the National Archives. It has the history of the Alloway Tavern inc. photos from the 1930's, a data sheet and even the blueprints. According to the data, it was built and owned by George Hitchner, abt 1830, and was a tavern the day it opened. Grew up there and never knew that! There are pictures of several other old homes in and near Alloway
