I'm looking for information on the family of Worthington "Worthy" and Mary (Harper) Hobbs. Worthy was born about 1826 and Mary 1828. They moved to Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales between 1855 and 1858 from Wiltshire, England. Children are:

2. George Harper Hobbs b. 1853
3. Eliza Harper Hobbs b. 1855
4. Edward J. Hobbs b.1858
5. Sarah Jane Hobbs b. 1860
6. John Hobbs b. 1864
7. Albert Hobbs b. 1870

William Harper Hobbs married Martha Powell in 1872 and had about six children: Alfred, Elizabeth, Arthur, Alice, Martha A., and William. All children were born in Merthyr Tydfil.

George Harper Hobbs married Clara Ann Jones in 1876. Their first three children, Albert Sidney, William George, and Thomas were born in Wales. The others, James Edward, Clara May, Beatrice Maud, George Harper JR, Minnie Elizabeth, and Sidney John were born in Carbondale, Lackawanna Co., Pennsylvania.

Sarah Jane Hobbs married Mordecai Lawrence in 1877. Their children were born in Glamorgan, Wales and include: Mary Ann, Elizabeth Ann, Thomas J., and Albert E.
