This Hodge family lived, at least in the lat 19th century, in southeastern Missouri. The Powells (Mary Jane Powell Hodge) were in Virginia at one time, in fact, someone in my family said that a Powell stepped off the boat at Jamestown. I have two aunts in Chaffee, Missouri who would know of connections, but I think we may have two different branches. Do you have an Elihu and Mary Jane Hodge in your family as well?
