I wish more people would "hop in" and help. I am not sure, but I believe the Rebeccah Hodges who married Richard Cunningham Bowen was from the little town of Hodges. Along about that time, George Bowen and Maria Tabitha Conant lived over near there somewhere, about Waterloo and had a plantation there. Richard is one of their sons. I wish I could find out more as to exactly where the home was located, for perhaps that plantation area is where Maria Tabitha Conant's father is buried. I live in Clinton,SC. Can you help? I will be glad to share any info I have.
