William H. Smith, - 57, well known,
life-long, native resident of
Saratoga Springs, died at the Saratoga
Hospital at 6:30 p. m. yesterday.
He was born Dec 18, 1877
and was a member of Bethesda
Episcopal Church, Saratoga Lodge,
15, I. O. 0. F., and Yaddo Rebekah
Lodge, 85, I. O. O. F. He had been
employed by the Mabee family for
approximately 30 years, most of
the time as chauffeur.
Survivors are his wife,Millie M.
Kinnicutt; his mother, Mrs. Anna
Smith; two sisters, Mrs. John
Cherry and Mrs. Charles R.
Hodges; two brothers. Garrett W.
Smith and George Smith, all or
Saratoga Springs, and several
nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2
p. m. Wednesday at the residence,
143 Church Street. The Rev. Irving
G. Rouillard, pastor of Bethesda
Episcopal Church, assisted by
the Rev. George A. Brock, pastor
of the New England Congregational
Church, will officiate and
burial will be in Greenridge Cemetery.
