Surnames: Hodkinson
Hi,
Does anyone else there have ancestors with the surname Hodkinson (frequently mis-transcribed or mis-spelt as Hodgkinson). I have traced the family line back to the mid 1840's in Northwich, Cheshire ... James Hodkinson married an Ann Holford in 1866. There are a couple of other Hodkinson's in the village which I am sure are family, but I just need to double check the facts.
