I'm tracing my direct Hodgson line and so far have come to a stop with my Great Grandfather x2 Tyson Hodgson. Tyson was born at Mordon Moor near Sedgefield in County Durham, England in 1850. His father was John Hodgson, married to Mary Ann Peacock, also at Sedgefield - I believe John died in 1851. From their marriage certificate, his father is shown as Thomas Hodgson, profession Joiner. To date have been unable to tie the threads together via the Census or IGI. Any pointers would be appreciated.
