lLooking for any info on John HOEY born in Flatbush, NY abt 1805 and settled in New Orleans circa 1840. He may have owned a plantation named Hoeyville 9 miles north of New Orleans on Mississippi River and Lake Pont. Will be visiting there in two weeks and need info. He also owned a house in New Orleans. He married Anna Bozeman and Caroline Pierce. He died about 1865. Any info appreciated.
