Hoff comes home from Oregon
From the 27 Jan 1899 issue of the Roanoke Beacon, newspaper of Plymouth, Washington County, North Carolina.
Mr. Leon HOFF, a son of our coutyman, Mr. J.H. HOFF, who has been in the U.S. Army for three years, stationed for the past year at Fort Canby, Oregon, has returned home. He is looking well and seems to have enjoyed soldier life in the far west.
