CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Indian Bayou Methodist Church for Mary Lou Foreman Laughlin, 83, who died Monday, February 23, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Laughlin was a native of Ridge and lifelong resident of Crowley. She enjoyed cooking, playing dominos and dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Rev. Truman Stagg will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Indian Bayou Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Delores L. Begley and her husband Ken of Sunset, Cynthia L. Delhomme and her husband Kevin of Crowley; one son, Randel Laughlin and his wife Donna of Sulphur; five grandchildren, Christopher Laughlin, Shannon Bertrand, James Bertrand, Brandon Higginbotham and Jessica Louviere; five great-grandchildren, Andre and Hunter Bertrand, Caleb Doucet, Grant Louviere, Brice Higginbotham; one step-great granddaughter, Tori Brasseaux.
Mrs. Laughlin was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Laughlin; her parents, Nathan and Alice Meaux Foreman; two brothers, Willard and Ellwin Foreman.
