"Following are biographical schetches of several octogenarians who are residents
of this county. Mrs. Louise Conat, a daughter of James Hogeboom, was born in
Vermont, July 31 1802, went to Port Hope Ont., with her parents in 1807, married
Charles Conat March 22, 1823 and had eight daughters and five sons. They lived
in Darlington, Durham county about 24 years, then in Westminster, Middlesex
county, about 10 years and for 27 years in St Clair county"
