I just noticed the question about Joseph Howe being related to Lord Viscount Howe.

I happened upon a site called If Legends are True and it shows a link to the House of Hanover and it appears the House of Stuart.

I also have a copy of a typed note by Daniel Dunbar Howe which states "As taken from Westminster Abbey" that Joseph Howe was the brother of George Augusta Howe, Admiral Richard Howe and General William Howe.
