I happened upon this thread and was so thrilled to see all of you on here. Daniel was my 4th great grandfather and I am named after Nancy Haven. My lineage is from Daniel to John Dunbar, to John Thomas to Samuel Shepherd to Elliott Hampton. Daniel Dunbar who wrote Listen to the Mockingbird was the younger brother of Samuel.

I am hoping to visit the area soon. Have any of you had any success in accessing the graves at Sunnyside?
