Evelyn H. Montoya
Evelyn Holborn Montoya, 90, of Castle Rock, died Aug. 9, 2005.
She was born March 28, 1915, in Rapid City, S.D., to Harry James and Francis (Thrusher) Holborn.
Mrs. Montoya was a cook in restaurants and health-care facilities. She moved to Castle Rock in 1981, coming from White Salmon, Was.
Her husband, James Steven Montoya, preceded her in death in 1972.
Survivors include three sons, Floyd Brown, David Brown and John Bennett; two daughter, Norma Amande and Linda Ross; a brother, James Holborn; two sisters, Dorothy Combs and Donna South; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
Arrangements are by Hubbard Funeral Home.
