My Great Grandfather Frederick Holborn is listed in Wisbech Cambridgeshire, His family are listed in Norfolk.

I am seeking the name of the cemetery that Etta Wood Holborn might be buried in for a friend. The information I have is she was Born 10 Jun 1902, died 10 Jan 1997. Her last residence was Gaylord, Otsego Co, MI.
Through researching her name she married Edward Milton HOLBORN in Gaylord on 5 Oct 1918. She may have married a 2nd time to a Herbert Howard on 14 Oct 1961 after the death of Edward. If you can help, please contact me.

Evelyn H. Montoya

Evelyn Holborn Montoya, 90, of Castle Rock, died Aug. 9, 2005.

She was born March 28, 1915, in Rapid City, S.D., to Harry James and Francis (Thrusher) Holborn.

Mrs. Montoya was a cook in restaurants and health-care facilities. She moved to Castle Rock in 1981, coming from White Salmon, Was.

Her husband, James Steven Montoya, preceded her in death in 1972.

Survivors include three sons, Floyd Brown, David Brown and John Bennett; two daughter, Norma Amande and Linda Ross; a brother, James Holborn; two sisters, Dorothy Combs and Donna South; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.

Arrangements are by Hubbard Funeral Home.

I have quite a bit of information on the Sharp side since my mother was descended from Henry Shar of Alvinston, ON. Henry's parents were John Sharp and Elizabeth Clarke Sharp both born in England. Henry's wife was Elizabeth Ellis Sharp whose family lived in the Brooke Township (Alvinston Area). I also have a number of pictures of the Sharps, but hardly any of Ella & Joseph. I'd be glad to help you out.

I don't have alot on the Holborn's as of yet. I am waiting to hear back from my cousin in Scotland for some more info. Though, they neither have much.
Agnes Holborn married John Vernal. My grandmother was Agnes Holborn Vernal who married William Smith.
Grandmother Agnes was born Sept 24 1914 in Paisley, Renfrewshire County, Scotland. She is buried Woodside Crematorium, Paisley, Renfrewshire Co., Scotland October 1997.
Her siblings were Rboert, John, Jimmy, Frank and Elta. All of whom I believe are deceased. No dates on Great Grandmother Agnes Holborn.

I am also seeking information on the Holborn line.
I don't have much, no dates.
The oldest I have would be Great Grandmother Agnes Holborn. She married John Vernal in Scotland (I think)
Their daughter (Grandmother) Agnes Holborn Vernal married William Smith. Grandmother was born 1914.
Her siblings were
Frank, Jimmy, John, Elta, and Robert.

I have just begun my family search process. My great grandfather was Louis Adams Holborn an ocean going steamship captain from Norfolk, Va. I have some records marriage license, family bible listing deaths, lots of photos, very few named connections. His sons were Frank and Louis Jr. my grandfather. I dont believe that they print your email on the message board, but I will reply here. If you are still interested I will give you my email address.There are so many Holborns. My mothers maiden name was also Holborn. We have traced our tree, to the best of our knowledge, back to 1869. Most of the relations listed, death records match Alvinston, St. Thomas, but that is about all we know. Have some names, but cant guarantee if they will help you or not. Check free searches on Ancestry.com, some info is free. If you have names, some are listed in the Social Security Death Index. Good Luck on your search

I couldn't believe it. John Wesley Holborn is a great uncle of mine. I have all kinds of information about the entire family. There was 13 in the family.
