According to my research, Andrew Jackson was a son of Levi. In support is the following census reference:
1870: Watts Creek, Whitley, KY.
Jackson HOLLERS (1) & siblings with Levi (31) & Lydia (28).
Has anyone found them in the 1880 census?

Andrew Jackson "Jack" & Martha are found together in the 1900 Whitley, 1910 Whitley and 1920 Harlan censuses.

Martha, w/o A. J. HOLLARS, d. 18 Apr 1928 Kitts, Harlan, KY and the Death Certificate states that her father was Henry VANOVER b. KY.

Hi cousins! I'm getting confused and need help. My great, great grandfather is Andrew Jackson Hollers. I think he married Martha VanOver.

Here is what I know for sure. He had a daughter named Grace Hollers/Hollors/Hollars who was born in 1907 in Jellico Creek, KY. Grace married Robert J. Brown, and they had my grandmother, Anna Marie Brown in Jellico Creek, Whitley County, KY. They later divorced and Grace married William Bowling/Bollin. They also lived in Evarts, Harlan Co., KY, and then she died in Pineville, Bell Co., KY.

My grandmother, Anna Marie, I called her Mamaw Marie, had a brother named Jack and a sister named Ruth.

Did my Andrew Jackson really marry Martha Vanover? Is his father Levi, Burton, or Abbott?

I have a picture of my grandfather taken in 1917, his name is Ancil Hollers. He is pictured with three siblings Matt Hollers, Bill Hollers, and Jim Hollers. My grandfather was born in 1899 in Jelico TN. I am not sure what county this is. He has a living brother still residing there, his name is Paul Hollers. Would appreciate any knowledge you may have regarding my grandfather and any of his ancestors.

Hi ...I am searching about my GG Grandmother Margaret Hollers born Oct .4, 1848 and died March 7, 1927 in Bedford, Indiana. She married a David New born May 4, 1844 in Wayne Co.,KY. and died Jan.27,1924 in Bedford, In. On her death record from Bedford it lists her father as being a Lee Hollers and her mother as just being a Hall (no first name listed). In the 1880 census it shows David and Margaret living in Wayne Co., Ky. with their children.It also shows Margaret as being 2 years younger than what she was in 1880...should have been 32 not 30. Is Annie Joe Morrish your grt Aunt? I know her very well, & we have worked on this line for a long time, so far, I have not made a direct connection with Burt Hollar and his 4 wives, but do believe my Albert and Burt were related in some way or other?

I do not know if this is what you are looking for or not. I have a 3rd great grandfather (Albert HOLLERS Sr.) who was married to Margaret CANADY. From them they had six children: Daniel, Lucinda, Albert Jr., John, Andrew, and Mary. From what my great Aunt has told me, Albert Sr. was not a family man. He had many families over the Cumberland Mountains. He later divorced Margaret and married Mary Ann GOODIN. They had one child and then my great Aunt lost track of her. Later it shows that he married Kisah ELISABETH. Together they had eight children. I thought these might be related to yours because my great Aunt says they are burried in the Davidson Cemetery in Oklahoma. Hope this helps. Thanks

Ruth, ran across Lester Hollers name as having been born in TX., died in NE, and that he was in WWI? Could this have been your ancestor? Know some of the Hollers family, Albert Hollers, Jr. and Elizabeth Cowan were in OK. at one time, that Solomon Hollers died in NE.

Found Martha A Wilson with her Mother, Amanda Hollers, and 4 grandsons on 1920 Census of Washington Co., AR. in Springdale Comm. Two of the grandsons were named McNeil and two of them were named Waterman.
Can anyone be of assistance on any of these persons???

Gina, the Martha Hollers in your post was a sister to my father, who was a Vanover. I do have a few pictures of some of their children-Cliff, Bill and Andy.,if you would be interested. Also would love to have a copy of Martha and Andrew,s picture, if you have one. Some of the children of Andy live here in the same town that I do. I forgot to say that Martha and Andrew also had 2 more sons, born after 1910. Their names were Andy C. and Joseph C. Martha was a sister to my father Samuel T. Vanover and he was born in Whitley Co. too.

The 1910 Miracode Index listed him as-Jack 38, Martha -W 34, Nora-D 18, Willie-S 16, Bessie-D 12, Everett-S 8, and Gracie-D 5. They were found in Whitley County in 1910.

I would very much be interested in the Andrew Hollers that married Martha Vanover from Whitley Co. Ky. Martha Vanover was the sister of my father Samuel T. Vanover, b. 1886-d. 1963. two of their children moved to Mi. and died there. They were Andy C. and Joseph Clifford Hollers. Would like to know if you possibly have old pictures of any of this family. I do have pictures of Cliff, Andy C. and William. would be willing to exchange any of the info that you have. Thanks in advance.

Joyce Hollers-Jones, My grandfather was Lester Leonard Hollers, a younger brother to Soloman(Sollie)E. Hollers. Soloman E, Hollers died in Valentine, Ne.. Their parents listed on both of their death cert. are Albert Hollers and Elizabeth Cowan from Wayne Co. Ky.. I just rec'd both death cert. recently so I could get the correct great-grandparents names. Hollers is the correct spelling of my family name. I just want to know something about my father's family since he never knew nothing about the Hollers Family because his dad died when he was 13 years old! My father's name was Everett Eugene Hollers. He had visited his uncle Soloman E. Hollers in 1950 at Valentine, Neb....I was two years old at that time. Any info about the family would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Ruth Hollers-Howard.
