HOLLIE
Edmond (Ed) age 71 of OKC, passed away
April 2, at St Anthony Hospital. He was
born near Red Oak, OK, came to OKC in
1938. He and his wife, Evonne owned and
operated Hollie's Drive In.

She preceded him in death in 1980.

He was a member of the Oklahoma Restaurant
Assn, the Oakcrest Church of Christ.

Survived by his daughter, Mrs Jean Rice of
OKC; mother, Ida Hollie of Red Oak OK; a
brother, Charles of Red Oak; a sister, Leta
Jean Byrum of Stigler OK; grandchildren,
Jan Rice, Jon Rice Jr., both of OKC, and
Joni Hall of Broken Arrow OK.

Services 2pm Wednesday at the Colonial
Chapel of the Vondel L. Smith & Sons Mortuary.


*note of interest: Mr Hollie & his wife owned 2 very popular drive in restuarants in the Oklahoma City & Del City areas: Hollie's Drive-In & The Burger Train. He also held the very patent for a window train to deliver your food to your car.
