Abner Hollister 1754-1813 War service records
The DAR will no longer accept Abner Hollister as a 'Patriot" unless I can prove his service record. The book Hollister Family of America and many family genealogies cite that he fought in Arnold's Quebec campaign was taken prisoner and escaped and traveled home but no where can I find proof of this. Does anyone have any info. He is not in the Soldiers and Sailors of Mass nor in the National Archives.
