Various researchers report the marriage of Johann Heinrich HOLZAPFEL in 1661 to my Maria Magdalena "Lena" TRAUT in the Gerabronn -- Michelfeld area of Germany, but do not list any sources that I am aware of regarding exactly where (book & page) this information came from. We have been researching the church books, cannot find the entry, and believe that the actual marriage date may be more recent.

Also, there is the possibility of two Hans Jacob HOLZAPFELs, one being his brother, and one being his son.

Does anyone have the actual cite for where this marriage information originally came from? It is extremely important to our TRAUT research for this period.

We will also be checking Witzenhausen records, since he reports family there in his Germantown, PA will dated 10 Jan 1735
