Surnames: Holstein/Holston
I am trying to trace the family of Celia Holstein b 1797 who married Elkanah Sawyer. Celia was my grandmother's ggggrand mother. I have seen two versions of her family. One has Celia whose father was Moses whose father was William whose father was Stephen whose father was Henry. This version has dates that appear correct. The other version has Stephen as Stephen Jr whose fater was Stephen Sr. whose father was Henry. The dates are kind of vague in this version. So which is correct? I would also like info on the mothers in this line if possible.
