I have run into a woman named Frances Holtzclaw (born abt 1779) and I seem to have two sets of parents for her. Some say her parents were Jacob Holtzclaw and Milly Dodson, but others say it was Jacobs BROTHER, Nathaniel Holtzclaw and his wife Isa Gibson. I really am not sure which one to believe, but maybe you guys know. My theory is that people who say it was Nathaniel, because he served in the Revolutionary War, and for some reason that's a big deal.
