NATIVE AMERICANS -MAGGIE HON/HORN SO OHIO ADAMS CO

Searching for my gr grandmother. I have her only in one census, 1900, with my grandfather and six other sons. (These are Hawse children) One is even younger than my grandfather, so I'm not sure of his father.My gr grandfather was Andrew Bird Newman, 1847, Va. & his son, my grandfather was Clarence Edward Newman, born 1897 so Ohio, Adams Co., Maggie states her DOB as Jan 1863 Oh Oh Oh., but Grandpa said she didn't speak English, read or write, so I'm not completely sold on her statistics. This is NOT my Maggie, on these rolls, she is to young, but may have been an ancestor of theirs.
There is a Rachel Santee, in Missouri, I believe her husband was Ruben Hon, and a Moses Hon, born in Montgomery Co Ky living in Missouri. Rachel has a sister living with her, Margaret DeAtley, and a sister in law named Shoe,( first name is )Leathering.
I know some of the Hons were Native American.
There is a

and with a Miller application #23326

with daughter(?STEP?) Maggie Horn,
Dawes#8417 age17,
Miller #8126,
and Miller application # 25079 3/4 Blood

and son Ben A Horn, 3, 1/4 blood

All in the final DAWES Plus Rolls of the Cherokee Nation 1898.

In Cherokee the "R" is pronounced as an "A". This could be the reason the name is pronounced Hon/Horn/Hahn

Trying to find any info on Caroline. I really haven't been able to find anything. The dates and identification of her surname come from bible records recorded by her daughter Sarah Jane Powell. Sarah Jane married my ancestor William Watson Buffenbarger. Any help would be appreciated.

am trying to locate infomation on Hon's from Montgomery Co Kentucky. My gggrandfather was Moses Jasper Hon born 1842, and he had a brother Benjamin T. Hon born 1840. Moses was named Mose Taylor Hon, but he didn't like the Taylor so he changed it to Jasper later on. Both Mose and Ben came to Adams Co. Ohio where they married and settled down. I believe their father to be Mose J. Hon and I'm not positive, but the mother may be Rena or Serena Thoroman. Both boys fought in the Civil war. I cannot find anything else about their parents or the rest of the family before them.

My grandfather is Homer Leroy Hon and his mom and dad are Mane and Grace Hon. I have no info past that. Can anyone help. A 1930 census from New Mexico lists them. Mane at age 46 and Grace at age 40.

Anyone who is famliar with the research on Joseph P. Hon father of Joseph P. Jr etc. please help me figure something out.

It has been taken by most researchers that our ancestor Joseph P. Hon who died in KY 1825 and names wife, Mary in will along with Polly, Katherine, Joseph Jr and Margot. Is the same as Joseph Haan who married Maria Knodler in Phil. PA at the German Reformed Church.

I would like to know what the documentation is shows that Mary his wife was this Maria Knodler and that Joseph Hon and Joseph Haan are the same person.

I hope someone out there will know.

Earliest record I can find is the 1880 White County Illinois census listing him as a newphew living with Edward Burnwick and Amanda Hon Burnwick and their children (can provide this info if anyone interested).
