My cousin Dewayne posted this thread back in 2000 and got no response, so I figured I would try again.

We are searching for information about the family of our grandfather, Warren Honor. It is believed by the family that his name was Honore and that he dropped the e from the end of his name to either get a job or because he could not spell his name.

In the 1910 census, the last name is listed as Honorray with Honorsey as an alternative. The family is listed as follows:
Head: Lewis (aka Lemo) born around 1879
Spouse: Annah born around 1881
Children:
Antonet, 1902
Warren, 1903
Landon, 1904
Alex, 1905
Annie, 1906
Viola, 1907

All were born in Louisiana. As of the 1910 Census, they were residents of Police Jury Ward 3 in Pointe Coupee. We have been unable to locate any information on any of them after the 1910 census.

My grandfather, didn't talk about his family much. It is believed that he at some point lived with an uncle in the Tioga/Ball area. He married Marie Harris, moved to Alexandria, La, and had 8 children.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
Tara
