Adam Hoobler died Thanksgiving day in his home in Rose Twp. Burial was made Saturday in the mausoleum at Magnolia. Mr. Hoobler was born in Rose Twp. in 1837, being 78 years 1 month old at the time of his death. His entire life was passed in Rose and Harrison Twps. In 1864 he was married to Rebbecca Little and to them were born five children; Mrs. J. M. May, of Warren; A. O. Hoobler, of Rose Twp.; Mrs. W. T. Thorley of Dell Roy; D. H. Hoobler, of Alliance, and W. E. Hoobler, of Waynesburg, all of whom survive with seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. There are two brothers and three sisters; A. R. Hoobler, of Carrollton; A. B. Hoobler of Waynesburg; Mrs. George Fritchley, of Rose Twp; Mrs. Mary Sparks, of Stark County, and Mrs. Cena Briggle, of Canton. In 1868 Mr. Hoobler was confirmed in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, of which he remained a faithful member until death. For the past 33 months he had been confined to his bed as a result of paralysis, but never complained of his afflictions.
