Hello Fellow Hood Researchers!


When I was a child my Granny told me I was related to the girl who played on the Little Rascals with Alfalfa and Spanky. On a whim, I started researching all of the girls who played a role in the short films. None seemed to fit except, possibly, Darla Jean Hood.
She was born Nov. 1931 in Leedey, Oklahoma. Her parents were James Claude & Elizabeth (DAVNER, var. spelled Danver, Danvers, etc.) HOOD. I can find no information on her parents other than a possible James Hood born in Choctaw, Indian Terr. About 1900.
I have 2 possible lines of connection:
1. Edley Hood, b. @ 1831 in the Carolinas, married my 2nd. Great Aunt, Martha Louisa CONLEY, @ 1851, in Cherokee, North Carolina.
2. Josephine Hood (possibly the name from a previous marriage), born @ 1898 married my 1st. cousin, Jackson W. LAMB, b. Oklahoma in 1892.

I know it's a long shot but does anyone have information connecting Darla Hood to either of these families?
Does anyone have more info on Darla Jean HOOD's family?
