Hi, I don't know if there is a connection or not. What I know is that Charles Hook and wife Jane (Musgrove) had at least one son, Charles, born 15 October 1859 in Guildford, Surrey. He married Elizabeth Burrows in St. Saviour, Southwark in 1883. They had Charles, Edith, William and May. As William is my great grandfather and I know he married Eliza Driver, he cannot be the same William as your great grandfather. However, as Charles and Elizabeth were married in Southwark, it is possible that your William is the grandson of Charles and Jane, and nephew of my ancestor Charles and Elizabeth.
