OBITUARY
Walburga Hopfl MEIER was born May 1, 1852 in Barnau, Germany and lived her childhood and maidenhood there. On July 16, 1877 she was united in marriage to Michael MEIER to which union four children were born namely, Margaret V MEIER, August MEIER, Joseph MEIER and Anna MEIER. Two of the children, August and Anna, having preceded her to the great beyond in their early infancy.
She departed this life, Dec 24, 1913 at the age of 61 years, 7 months and 23 days.

We wish to express our kindest, most sincere and most grateful thanks to the kind friends who so willingly and so earnestly assisted us during he last hours of our wife and mother's illness and death.

Mr Michael MEYERS had the misfortune to lose his wife Christmas morning. She had not been very well since last summer. She was sixty-one years old. Funeral services were held at the Sacred Heart Catholic church Friday by Father RIEDEL and interment was made at Sacred Heart cemetery.
